Sportsman's Release Knife

The Sportsman's Release Knife is a tool used to slice up to 800# mono when releasing billfish. The release knife promotes safety for the fish and crew by reducing the amount of contact between the two. No broken bills and no open blades in the cockpit....we call that a "WIN WIN".

When we leave the dock we always have at least 4 (more if we'll be in a remote location for any period of time). Two on the crew and multiple spares. That way we're covered for replacing the ones we are likely to loose and the rest we like to share with our dock partners!
